Keep track of what we're up to and what's going on in the world of Harthill Morris

We are very fortunate to have been asked to feature in an observational documentary short film which has now been released on YouTube!

'Enter the Morris' is an affectionate portrait of Harthill Morris as we rehearse in preparation for the annual Victorian Christmas Market held at Kelham Island in Sheffield.

The documentary is entirely the work of Jasmine Nugent as part of her University degree, for which she got a First! Well done Jasmine!

We have published this year's dance-out programme!

Featuring our regular summer Thursday night dance-outs at local hostelries, as well as appearances at events in places such as Buxton and Lincoln, it is shaping up to be another great year for Harthill Morris.

You can find a regularly-updated list of where you can see us on our Programme page, and you can grab yourself a copy of our programme either from us when you come to see us perform, or download one for yourself again from the Programme page.

Founding member of Harthill Morris, David Lowe, was presented with the Harthill Morris Legends Award by Squire Nick Pal on the occasion of David's 80th birthday during last night's practice session.

David was a founding member of the side, being one of nine men who came together in the Spring of 1976 to learn some Morris dancing to perform at an upcoming Harthill Carnival Society event. Nearly 47 years later and David is still dancing with Harthill and throughout the years has held the offices of Squire, Old Man, Songmaster, Costumier and Publicity Officer.

Congratulations David - what a great achievement!
