Why not give morris dancing a go?
We’re always on the lookout for new members and everyone is welcome to come along and give morris dancing a try. We’re a friendly and relaxed group, and morris dancing is a great opportunity to get active and socialise with wonderful, like-minded people. During the winter months we meet-up to practice before retiring to a local pub for a chat and a pint. In the summer we dance-out at various pubs in the local area, as well as at morris and community events around the country.
From October to April we practice on Thursday evenings from 7.45pm – 9.30pm at Harthill Village Hall, before making our way to The Beehive pub in Harthill. We welcome anyone who is interested in getting involved, whether that be as a dancer or musician, regardless of experience. Becoming a member of the Harthill Morris family will give you the opportunity to attend a wide range of events, help keep one of England’s oldest traditions alive, and most importantly have fun.
If you’re interested, feel free to get in touch, speak to one of us at a dance-out, or pop along to one of our practices.
